Fiesta Mexican Kitchen | Our Story

How Fiesta Came to Be

Fiesta was born from perseverance, hard work, and the determination to move forward. Luis, our founder, came to the United States at the age of fifteen in search of an opportunity to build a better future. Years later, he lost his job, and after searching unsuccessfully for work, he decided to bet on himself. With the support of his family, he opened a small food truck. The first few months were difficult—there were days when he worked more than twelve hours and sold only one order of tacos. But he didn’t give up. Over time, Fiesta was able to grow, overcome economic hardships, and even survive the pandemic. Today, every dish we serve represents sacrifice, perseverance, family, and the belief that it is always worth moving forward.

We set out with one goal: bring real Mexican flavor to Queens. Every dish is rooted in the flavors our family grew up loving — fresh ingredients, bold spices, nothing held back.
